NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS:

Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Claiborne County Mississippi at the Chancery Clerk's Office at 510 Market Street, Port Gibson Mississippi 39150, until 10:00 A.M. on Monday, April 15, 2024 and shortly thereafter publicly opened for the construction of 1.813 miles of OVERLAY on the Oil Mill Road - Roads "A-C" being known as Project No. SAP-11{18)M in Claiborne County Mississippi.

PLANS AND PROPOSALS may be secured from https://waggonerengplans.com/. Those interested in viewing or obtaining documents or submitting an electronic bid are required to register for an account at https://waggonerengplans.com/ Registration requires a valid email address. Bid Documents may be obtained upon payment of $100 (which is non-refundable) and must be purchased through the website or by phone. Call Jamie Mcinnis of Waggoner Engineering, Inc. at (601)355-9526 regarding questions about registration or placing orders.

ELECTRONIC BIDS shall be submitted in pdf format to https://waggonerengplans.com/. Electronic bid submittals shall include a cover sheet with the information required for envelopes containing paper bid submittals. The Bidder is fully responsible for on time delivery of bids regardless of bid submittal method chosen. In the event that an electronically submitted bid has a corrupted attachment, the bid will be considered null and void.

Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Claiborne County and the State of Mississippi must accompany each proposal. Plans and Specification sets are $100.00 each and can be picked up from the County Engineers office located at 143A LeFleurs Square, Jackson, MS 39211.

Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid and such proposal will not be considered in making the award.
